Hand Crafted Vendors
RAGBRAI® riders will be pedaling through the City of Oelwein on Friday, July 25, 2025. We are expecting 15,000-20,000 guests to spend part of the day and the night in Oelwein. This information is designed to answer some of your questions and assist you in filling out all required applications. This local handcrafted market will be a part of the RAGBRAI® LII and it is important to understand that if you are accepted as a vendor, there will be strict guidelines for load-in and load-out, hours of operation, vendor parking, and much more that will need to be followed to ensure not only a successful market but also the safety of all involved including the patrons, other vendors, and staff.

The market will take place in the Parking lots directly north and east of the Events on Frederick Building located at 137 S Frederick Ave. in Oelwein. All spaces will be 10' x 10’ with a 1’ buffer between booths. Spaces will be marked and vendors will be assigned a designated space the day of the event. If you need more than one space for your booth, you will need to pay for the extra space as listed below. There will be no vehicles allowed to stay in the vendor area. If you have a trailer that is part of your business display, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis but must be pre-approved. Once vendor space is set up your vehicle will need to be parked outside of the market. There will be designated areas approved for vendor parking. Electrical access is very limited but is available at an additional $25 charge and is subject to approval. No generators will be allowed in the Handcrafted Market.
There will be an $85 booth fee per 10’ x 10’ booth for all handcrafted vendors, local or non-local. These fees will be required before any organization or business will be permitted to be a RAGBRAI vendor in Oelwein. Applications are due by June 27th, 2025. All accepted vendors will be notified by email and will be required to submit a signed vendor agreement and payment no later than July 11th, 2025. Local vendors will be given first priority. Out of Town vendors will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis, with Vendor Committee having final authorization. It will be the goal of the committee to have a large variety of food and beverage choices for the riders and guests. All decisions of the committee will be final. *If you are located in the Oelwein Community School District you will be considered “local”.

Vendors may post signs in their space during RAGBRAI. Please note that all signs must be considerate and may be removed or asked to be moved to another location at the RAGBRAI committees discretion. Signs Cannot use the RAGBRAI® name.
